About Me: Pranav Anand

I joined Goibibo in 2014, and it was my first job as a Content Writer. Working for a travel and tourism company like Ibibo turned my entire life around. It was a thrilling experience to learn about the scope and aspects of the company. I never knew that so much could be learned by working for a company for almost three years. In my years with Goibibo I learned to write blogs, articles and also create travel guides. Thereafter, all thirty people in the content team moved to its second phase - content moderation.

There were a number of aspects related to writing while being a content moderator. The first aspect included editing the best responses shared by the hoteliers. This helped to convey the right response to the customers in the most meaningful manner. The second included correction of spelling mistakes, grammar, punctuation, etc. The third and final aspect of content moderation included removing wrong and duplicate content from the website.

After successfully handling this job, my manager made me more responsible by adding more responsibilities to my shoulder. He made me the sole in charge of the Goibibo Hotel Verification Project. I covered 200 cities across India while working on this project. However, I only had the privilege to personally complete 11 cities with a fellow colleague. My manager was very impressed with my dedication and even wrote about it on my LinkedIn profile.

Thereafter, I moved onto the next stage of my life and became a Content Manager at FastFox. At this company, I was the sole writer as well as a social media manager. I was reporting directly to the AVP. In my 1 year duration with FastFox and its secondary domain BroEx, I wrote more than 400 blogs and created social media posts for its Facebook and Twitter profiles. My hard work paid off greatly, as the number of visitors soon crossed a mark of 50,000 in a span of 2 months or so. My reporting manager, who was also the AVP, was quite happy with my work, and here is what he had to say about me:

After contributing enough to FastFox, I moved onto the next stage in life to become a Digital Marketing Manager at Envent Worldwide Pvt Ltd. This time I was directly reporting to the Director of the company. I developed many skills while working as a Marketing Manager. The job required distributing video content on YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook. Therefore, I had to connect with influencers, digital publications, and other websites to promote the brand. At the same time, I had to write website content, product description, as well as, edit and proofread content on the website and for social media posts. My job also entailed staying connected with photographers and the personal digital marketing agency of the company. Even here my efforts were appreciated. Here is what my colleague at Envent had to say about me:

Later that year, I got the opportunity to work with OnlineTyari. I was recruited as a Blog Manager and was also assigned a team to handle. My experience at OnlineTyari was once again a life-changing experience. Although, I was in charge of managing the English content for the website and its contributors, I was allocated a secondary responsibility. The company Founders thought that I would be very suitable to handle the YouTube channel and content for the company. So, they delegated the work to me. Within a span of a year, we crossed the mark of 1 lakh subscribers on the company's YouTube channel. Thereafter, the company even opened a Marathi YouTube channel, and the responsibility for the same was also given to me. As a Blog Manager and a YouTube Manager, I was creating and hosting videos, writing video descriptions, blogs, articles, news stories, and going on the field to cover live interviews. My work was appreciated in the form of certificates and reviews on my LinkedIn profile. Here is what people had to say about me:

Finally, I started working for QuickLaunch in April 2019. It was a new experience for me working on a night shift and a US-based company. But, I pursued my excellence by creating blogs, articles, press releases, and case studies. However, the most exciting work that I came across while working for QuickLaunch was to create content for brochures, social media posts, and emails for targeted audiences. Even though I worked with this company for a short span of time, my work was very much appreciated. Here is what my colleagues had to say about me:

But, apart from all of this I have even worked as a freelance content writer as well as created a personal fitness blog and YouTube channel.
